Worship in Spirit and Truth Together

Our Journey
The Story of Durham Spirit and Truth Fellowship
Durham Spirit and Truth Fellowship began as a humble gathering of believers in Oshawa, focusing on authentic worship and divine teachings. Under the guidance of Pastor Suneal, we have diverse ministries, attracting individuals from various backgrounds, who seek a deeper relationship with God.\.

We value integrity, commitment, and a holistic approach to worship. Our fellowship is committed to providing a welcoming environment where individuals of all ages can come together to grow in faith, support one another, and embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Meet Our Pastor
Our founder and pastor, Suneal, brings over a decade of pastoral experience to the fellowship. With more than five years as an Assistant Pastor and six years as an Associate Pastor, he has dedicated his life to ministry and spiritual leadership. Suneal holds a Ph.D. in Theology from St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. His passion for fostering community and spiritual growth guides the mission of Durham Spirit and Truth Fellowship.
Pastor’s Directional Statement
To worship God the Father in Spirit and truth means first our purpose is to worship something. We all do, even the “non-religious.” If our worship is off course from being worship of God, life can be more difficult. On the other hand, the Gospel is God’s power to encounter His Spirit reality with truth endowed integrity, having our hearts captured to worship the Father in Spirit and truth, leading to a “fuller life.” Jesus is central because elsewhere he said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” Our purpose then is to make worship a verb, meaning it ought to encompass our whole being and life, and not just in religious rituals or in worship music, albeit those are also important. Worship can be heart-based, God-breathed and truth centered— challenging us to honesty and integrity.
Our goal is to enter and progress in this path of true worship, together, for both “new seekers” of the faith and for veterans of it. I am called to preach and teach Jesus Christ Himself in all His depths, thus making disciples of all nations who worship God in spirit and truth. Come join us! God bless.
